2. Gives your skin time to acclimate to active ingredients in your skincare. When introducing active ingredients, your skin can sometimes get worse before it gets better. This is very normal, and we call it “a purge”. This is because we are giving your skin the vitamins and tools it needs to create new youthful, healthy skin. Out with the old and in with the new.
3. It takes 3-6 months for collagen synthesis.
4. The skin on your face turns over about every 28 days. So, the work you do today to support skin health you’ll see in about a month.

How many days before my wedding should I get a facial?

1-3 days before is ideal, but if you are traveling for your big day, we can customize a facial that will still have you glowing 14 days later. We customize each facial based on each client’s skin needs. Our pre-wedding facial generally begins with dermaplaning. Dermaplaning will exfoliate the dead skin cells and remove the vellus hair (peach fuzz) leaving your skin glowing and the perfect canvas for flawless make-up application.

What if I have a skin emergency close to my wedding date?
