Skincare trends move fast. One week it’s salmon sperm facials, the next it’s beef tallow moisturizer, and somewhere in between people are still trying to recover their skin barrier from three different acids they saw on TikTok.
But inside Lifted Beauty & Wellness, there are a handful of treatments and products we come back to over and over again because they consistently work.
These are the treatments and products we reach for again and again. The skincare BFFs. The products we pack for trips, the treatments we recommend daily, the things we reach for when our own skin is acting up, and the skincare staples we genuinely get excited to talk about with clients.
Because healthy skin is rarely about chasing trends. It’s usually about consistency, education, protection, and finding the right combination for your skin long-term.
And honestly? That’s a little bit like the relationships we build here too. Somewhere along the way, many of our clients stop feeling like clients and start feeling like friends. We celebrate milestones, vacations, weddings, babies, career changes, and sometimes stressful seasons together too. One of our favorite parts of this job is getting to “do life” alongside the people who trust us with their skin.
So in honor of National Best Friends Day, we’re sharing the treatments, products, and skincare staples we reach for again and again at Lifted.
Beth’s Ride-or-Die: SPF + Collagen Building Treatments
If you’ve spent more than five minutes around me, you’ve probably heard me say ‘SPF is my BFF.’
And I mean it.
Most people spend thousands of dollars trying to correct sun damage while simultaneously creating more of it every single day. Protecting your skin is foundational. If you’re investing in treatments like IPL, microneedling, SofWave, lasers, or skincare, sunscreen isn’t optional. It protects your results and helps prevent future collagen breakdown and pigmentation.
I also strongly believe in pairing protection with collagen stimulation. Treatments like SofWave, microneedling, RF microneedling, and fractional resurfacing help support long-term skin health by encouraging your skin to behave younger and stronger over time.
One of the biggest misconceptions in aesthetics is that collagen-building treatments are something you do once and then you’re done. Collagen loss is ongoing, which means maintenance matters. Personally, I believe most people should be doing some form of collagen-stimulating treatment at least every 4 months to keep their skin functioning strongly, healthily, and resiliently over time.
My skincare philosophy has never been about looking ‘done.’ It’s about helping skin stay healthy, resilient, and functioning well long-term.

Natasha’s Ride-or-Die: Acne Treatments + IPL
“Acne is never just acne.
There’s usually inflammation, congestion, hormones, barrier dysfunction, stress, irritation, or overcorrection happening underneath the surface. That’s why I’m such a big believer in customized treatment plans instead of one-size-fits-all solutions.
One of my biggest skincare pet peeves is when people think they need to completely strip or dry out oily skin to clear acne. In reality, over-drying the skin often disrupts the barrier, increases inflammation, and can actually trigger even more oil production and breakouts.
I consistently come back to treatments that correct the skin while still supporting its overall health.
I especially love combining treatments like AviClear, IPL, DMK Enzyme Therapy, Hydrafacial, corrective peels, and targeted skincare to help calm inflammation, regulate oil production, and improve overall skin function over time.
And yes… I fully embrace my reputation as the ‘IPL Queen.’ IPL is one of my favorite treatments because it can address redness, pigmentation, acne-related discoloration, and overall skin rejuvenation all at once. It’s one of those treatments that consistently delivers when done appropriately and paired with the right homecare.”

Melissa’s Ride-or-Die: Natural-Looking Injectables
“My philosophy with injectables has always been that you should still look like yourself — just more refreshed, rested, and balanced.
I think a lot of people are nervous about injectables because they’re afraid of looking frozen or overdone, but the best injectable work is often the kind people can’t immediately identify. They just think you look healthy, lifted, or well-rested.
I love treatments that subtly support the skin over time while maintaining movement and natural facial expression.
I’m especially loyal to Xeomin because it creates beautiful softening while still allowing natural movement, and I love pairing that with biostimulatory treatments like hyperdilute Radiesse or skin-focused fillers that improve hydration and skin quality rather than simply adding volume.
One of the best parts of injectables is that they work beautifully alongside good skincare and collagen-stimulating treatments. It’s never about replacing healthy skin habits — it’s about enhancing them.”

Kristen’s Ride-or-Die: Retinoids + Skin Barrier Support
“I’m a huge believer that healthy skin starts with supporting the skin instead of constantly fighting against it.
So many people are unknowingly over-exfoliating, overusing actives, or stressing their skin into a cycle of irritation and inflammation. Sometimes the best thing we can do is slow down, calm the skin, and rebuild a healthy foundation first.
That’s actually one of the reasons I love retinoids so much when they’re used appropriately. A good retinoid doesn’t have to destroy your skin barrier. When introduced correctly and paired with supportive skincare, retinoids can improve texture, acne, pigmentation, collagen support, and overall skin quality beautifully over time.
I also love pairing corrective skincare with regenerative treatments like microneedling with Ariessence PDGF because it helps support healing while stimulating collagen production and long-term skin rejuvenation.
For me, skincare should be corrective and restorative at the same time. I want skin to function better, feel healthier, and become more resilient over time — not constantly irritated.”

Dr. Fox’s Ride-or-Die: Treating Skin From the Inside Out
“Skin is often a reflection of what’s happening internally.
Hormones, stress, inflammation, digestion, sleep, nutrition, and lifestyle all influence how the skin behaves, which is why I believe the best outcomes happen when we take a more comprehensive approach.
I especially love working with patients struggling with acne, inflammation, hair loss, or skin conditions that don’t fully resolve with topical treatment alone. Sometimes the skin is giving us valuable information about what’s happening elsewhere in the body.
One of the biggest shifts I encourage patients to make is moving away from chasing quick fixes and toward supporting long-term health. When the body functions better internally, the skin often follows.
I also love collaborating with the aesthetic side of Lifted Beauty & Wellness because combining internal support with corrective treatments and proper skincare creates stronger, more sustainable outcomes.”
